Ingredients :
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup cooked lentils
1/2 cup whole wheat pasta (your choice)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium-sized onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 cup chopped parsley for garnish
Method :
1.Cook the rice, lentils, and pasta according to the package instructions.
2.In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3.Add the chopped onion and stir until golden brown.
4.Add the minced garlic and stir for two minutes.
5.Add cumin and turmeric, and stir the ingredients to distribute the spices.
6.Add the cooked rice, lentils, and pasta to the skillet and stir the ingredients well.
7.Serve the Koshari in a serving dish and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
8.You can add tomato slices or tomato sauce to enhance the flavor.
